Living in Chorleywood

The historical village of Chorleywood is part of the Three Rivers District in Hertfordshire and has been voted the “happiest place” to live in the UK (in a study by The Social Disadvantage Research Centre, Oxford in 2004). It has also more recently been ranked as the “least deprived” area in the country (by the Department of Communities and Local Government). The village has great community spirit and residents report a real sense of belonging. Perfect for commuters, it has its own London Underground station (zone 7) and is located off junction 18 of the M25. But despite its links to London, it offers nature lovers a vast amount of open countryside and green space. Families favour this town for its excellent schools and safe community feel.
